I'm at my computer and have just finished a meeting on loneliness, (it was a great meeting of AlAnon)!

I have a sign up in my computer desk that says from Mother
Teresa: the greatest disease in America is not cancer or heart disease but loneliness.  I could not agree more.  Also from an unknown author:  loneliness is not being able to tell someone the things that are important to us.  There is so much wisdom in the world--and sorrow.  The man in this post was in a New York Times article entitled: Bedlam in America, about homelessness, mental illness and addiction,  I have fought all my life for justice for the lost and forgotten, and the overlooked.  I still sigh when I think of the "journey" of  those that bless us  with their courage.  Allison
