# 25 I once read a book review...

about a famous journalist, who when he found out he was dying, wrote essays of conduct for his then two infant sons. He reasoned that he would not be around to raise them, so he wanted to leave them with a written legacy of "Being" in the world. The quote I remember was:
"Do what you know is right, even if it is the hard thing sometimes."
It was over 25 years ago when I read that particular quote, but I have found it to be a marvelous beacon in a sometimes confusing world.
And it has never failed to bring both a sense of peace and contentment to my heart...even though at times, it was the hard thing to do.
